Iterative Evaluation of a Participatory Designed Online Course

We present an iterative hybrid formative evaluation methodology incorporated in a Participatory Design process for an online multimedia course in Modern Greek. Our hybrid evaluation incorporates student surveys, log file analysis, solicitation of student feedback, and monitoring student discussions. The evaluation process is ongoing, and its results are incorporated in the design of the course. The hybrid methodology allows us to capture user feedback that we would not have been able to record with surveys composed of static sets of questions.
